Course Layout

The aim of the Tajweed course is to introduce the concepts of the art of Tajweed. The course participants will:

• Understand the etiquettes for reciting the Holy Qur’an.
• Understand the general principals of Tajweedul-Qur’an.
• Apply the correct pronunciation of Arabic letters from points of articulation.
• Understand attributes of the Arabic letters.
• Understand the rules of Tajweed.
• Recite the Qur’an by applying the principles of Tajweed.
• Develop some proficiency in order to continue to practice Tajweed independently.
