Registration Process

Fee Information and Rules:
  • Monthly tuition fee is 30$ and is due on the first day of the month.
  • Fee is non-refundable.
  • Fee is not waived for absence or Vacation time taken by the Students. As long as the Students are registered, fee and arrears must be paid.
  • Fee can be paid in cash or by a cheque in the name of BCMA – Burnaby Branch.
  • Cost of books will be non-refundable and will be charged separately in addition to monthly fee.
  • A refundable fee will be collected in lieu of Volunteer work for year 2011-12. This fee will be returned on completion of Volunteer service.

Important Dates for 2011-12 Registration:

  • New School year will commence from Sep 16, 2011.
  • For new students, the registration deadline is Sep 2, 2011.
  • For exisiting students, please confirm our office before Sep 2, 2011, if you intend to return for the new school year. To ensure your seat, please pay the fees. This will grant you a seat, which can otherwise be given to someone else.
  • List of Students and their Class assignments will be posted on the Notice Boards on Sep 9, 2011.
  • A waitlist will be maintained and the Students who will not return within first 2 weeks of new school year, their Seats will be offered to the Waitlist Students on Oct 7, 2011.

Terms and Conditions:

By registering I, the parent/legal guardian, acknowledge that I have read and understood the following terms and conditions for acceptance into Al-Salaam Academy:

  1. Admission is on first come, first served basis and Al-Salaam Academy reserves the right to accept or decline admission based on availability of Classroom space.
  2. Al-Salaam Academy reserves the right to cancel or combine classes if enrolment is insufficient.
  3. I agree to provide Information pertinent to the registration process which Al-Salaam Academy will use solely for it's administration purposes.
  4. All fees - including registration fees - are non refundable and I am fully responsible for the settlement of fees and dues owing to Al-Salaam academy.
  5. I am fully responsible for any damages to the property of Masjid Al-Salaam that my child may cause.
  6. Al-Salaam Academy is not liable for any injuries to my child during school hours.
  7. I am fully responsible for dropping off and picking up my child/children on time.
